Stables for horses
Herman and Josiane are both horse lovers, so you can be sure that your horses will be just as spoiled as yourself. B&B De Windheer not only offers the possibility to use their fully equipped stables, you can also get advice on the best local equestrian routes.
Garden
You can enjoy a nice aperitif during a game of petanque in the magnificent garden. The grazing horses in the adjacent meadows complete the scene.
Cycling
The rolling hills of the Pajottenland region are ideal for a sturdy bike ride. B&B De Windheer offers you the possibility to stow and clean your bike after a day full of exercise. In addition, you can rent e-bikes, bikes or scooters to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Local product
The Pajottenland is known for its local products among which you can find the Geuze and Lambik beers. Do not hesitate to plan a visit to one of the local breweries. Just a stone’s throw away you can find, among others, the Lindemans, De Cam, Boon and Girardin breweries. You can also visit “In de verzekering tegen de grote dorst”, the café that has been named the ‘Best Beer Destination in the World’. Definitely worth visiting!
Activities
The Pajottenland is the perfect region for a sturdy bike or walking tour. Starting from the B&B you will find gorgeous walking and biking tours between the Pajot fields. Maps are available in the B&B. In addition, you can rent e-bikes, bikes, electric scooters or even a Citroën 2CV to explore the surroundings. For this we refer you to our partner Corallium

Sights to see
The Pajottenland offers lots of attractions: go back to your childhood at the Kapitein Zeppos-Molen, discover the history of the Belgian draught-horse (link museum), enjoy the beautiful flowers in the Rose garden or discover the past in one of the gorgeous castles: the beautiful Kasteel van Gaasbeek is just a stone’s throw from B&B De Windheer. Don’t forget to visit the castle museum and museum garden.
